Making a real difference


Phoenix House is intended primarily for people aged 55 or over, or those with a disability, who live in the Solihull area or have a strong connection with the area.

In order to rent an apartment, an applicant must apply to join the waiting list for Phoenix House and have care or support needs. The applicant must also be willing, if deemed appropriate, to take part in a community care assessment which will identify their level of need.

Potential applicants who think they may be eligible should contact the Phoenix House Estate Manager in the first instance who will provide information and assist with the application process as well as arranging for an assessment to be carried out.

A copy of the Phoenix House Criteria Form is attached to the left. Should you wish to proceed with an application for a rented or Shared Ownership apartment please print, complete and submit the form to the Estate Manager at Phoenix House.

The six Shared Ownership apartments are all currently owned and occupied. However, the opportunity to purchase does arise from time to time for people who meet the age/disability and locality criteria, who are suitable for the service and who would benefit from the additional support, safety and security that this type of accommodation can offer. 

Please contact the Phoenix House Estate Manager to ascertain if any Shared Ownership apartments are currently for sale.
