Application criteria:

  • Aged 55 years or over with a care and support need. However, applicants under the age of 55 with a disability will also be considered.
  • Ability to live independently with care and support provided.
  • Already residing in the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull or with close family relatives already living in the Borough (Please note that first priority will be given to people residing in Solihull).

A full-time non-resident Scheme Manager, together with a dedicated on-site team of staff trained to meet your care and support needs, will give you and your loved ones peace of mind regarding your safety and well-being.

All prospective applicants for accommodation will need to complete an application form and undergo a home assessment to confirm eligibility for the scheme. Decisions on allocations will be taken by a Panel comprising representatives from SCHA, Solihull Council’s Adult Social Care Team, Solihull Community Housing and the care & support provider commissioned by the Council.
