Phoenix House, which opened in September 2009, is a modern purpose-built development comprising 49 affordable extra care   self-contained apartments. It is designed to enable residents to retain their independence within a supporting and enabling environment. Click here to view our brochure.

Developed through a successful partnership between Solihull Care Housing Association (SCHA), Solihull Council (SMBC) and Solihull Care Trust the scheme offers:

  • 41 one bedroom and 2 two bedroom self-contained apartments for rent
  • 2 one bed and 4 two bedroom shared ownership apartments
  • 24 hour on-site care and support
  • An extensive range of extra care facilities
  • A real alternative to residential care for people who value their independence
  • Each centrally heated apartment is carpeted and has a lounge, kitchen, bedroom(s) and a bathroom fitted with a level entry shower and handrails.

    The apartments and communal facilities are wheelchair friendly and fitted with an emergency alarm system.
