Supported Housing Services

Solihull Care Housing Association’s supported housing team offers people with mental health disorders the opportunity to live independently with housing management and person-centred housing related social support.  Our tenants can enjoy sharing our communal spaces, helping them to develop friendships and a sense of community, to support their mental and physical wellbeing and prevent loneliness.

We recognise that mental disorder affects individuals in varying ways and that their ability to cope at any one time can be different.

An important element of our support of individual tenants is about highlighting their strengths and abilities and building levels of self-confidence and esteem so that they feel they can, in time, take more control over their own lives and develop the necessary skills to continue to live independently within the community.
